yes – I suppose this is the reason. The FA-SY2 will NOT work properly with the FA-SDR-TRX. FA-SY1 provides CMOS level and FA-SY2 only (a much lower) LVDS level. You will have to purchase a FA-SY1.

will FA-SDR TRX work with FA-SY No2?
my FA-SDR TRX wil not recive – i used my old FA-SY No2
so i hope this is the probleme.

the three articles are written in German and published by the German Ham Radio Magazine “Funkamateur”. The articles contain the schematics. The articles are not available for download. to read the original articles in German you need to order copies of Funkamateur magazine (Oct, Nov and Dec 2009) editions. They cost 3€ each. I suggest to purchase the Funkamateur 2009 compendium CD which includes the whole content of 2009 for just 12,90€. This is the link:
